How to withdraw Bitcoin

Important: Crypto transfers are usually irreversible. Always double check you are using the correct network and a valid Bitcoin address or Lightning invoice from your destination wallet/exchange. If you send to the wrong network or paste the wrong details, funds may be lost.
Requirements for successful withdrawals
Sign in with a login method
If you are using a guest session, you'll be prompted to add a login method (Google or Apple ID) before you can withdraw. This helps keep your account secure and ensures you can access it later.
Verify your email
You may be asked to add and verify an email address. If verification is required, the app will show a button to send a verification email.
Meet the minimum amount and fees
Like most crypto platforms, withdrawals have a minimum amount to prevent spam and cover network costs. The minimum depends on the selected network and is shown on the withdraw screen after you choose the network.
Use a compatible destination
Make sure your destination supports the network you choose. For example, only use Lightning if your destination clearly supports Lightning deposits and provides a Lightning invoice/address.
KYC and other requirements
Depending on your country, account activity, or withdrawal amount, we may ask you to complete identity checks (KYC) or additional verification steps before a withdrawal can be processed. If anything is required, the app will show you exactly what to do and guide you through it.
Where to withdraw to
You can withdraw your Bitcoin to either a crypto exchange (to potentially trade or convert) or a personal Bitcoin wallet (to hold and manage your own funds).
Option 1: Withdraw to an exchange
If you want to trade Bitcoin or convert it to local currency, you can withdraw to an exchange that supports Bitcoin deposits.
Exchanges are independent third-party services, not operated or controlled by us. They have their own fees, terms, account requirements (including KYC), and availability depending on your location and local regulations.
In your exchange account, find Deposit or Receive, then choose Bitcoin (BTC). The exchange will show you either:
Lightning invoice / Lightning address
Often faster and lower-fee, but only use if your exchange clearly supports Lightning deposits.
Bitcoin address (on-chain)
Widely supported. Processing time and fees can vary depending on network conditions and the exchange's policies.
Step-by-step
1) On the exchange, select the network you want to use (Lightning or Bitcoin on-chain) and copy the invoice/address provided by the exchange.
2) In CloudMineCrypto, open your wallet and tap Withdraw. Choose the same network you selected on the exchange.
3) Paste the invoice/address, enter the amount, and review the details carefully before confirming.
Tip: If you want to copy amounts more precisely, use the wallet formatting option (for example, “Bitcoin, 12 decimals”) so you can match numbers cleanly between the app and your destination.
Note: Lightning invoices can expire. If your invoice expires before the withdrawal is processed, create a new invoice on the exchange and try again.
4) After you submit, the withdrawal will be processed. Timing depends on the chosen network and destination service. If you don’t see the deposit after a reasonable time, check the exchange’s deposit history and any pending/processing status on their side.

Option 2: Withdraw to your own Bitcoin wallet
If you want to hold your Bitcoin yourself, you can withdraw to a personal wallet you control. With a self-custody wallet, you are responsible for protecting your recovery phrase/private keys. If you lose access, nobody (including us) can recover the funds.

A simple Lightning-supporting wallet example. We are not affiliated with ZBD. Always review any wallet’s features, availability, and terms before using it.
Bitcoin.org wallet chooser (wallet directory)
A directory of wallet options. We don’t operate or control the listed wallets.
Step-by-step
1) In your wallet, tap Receive, choose Bitcoin (BTC), and select either a Lightning receive option (if supported) or a Bitcoin on-chain address.
2) Copy the invoice/address from your wallet.
3) In CloudMineCrypto, open your wallet → Withdraw → choose the same network → paste the invoice/address → enter amount → confirm.
Note: If you’re using Lightning, invoices can expire and the requested amount usually must match the invoice amount.
4) Once processed, your wallet should show the incoming transaction. Timing varies depending on the network and wallet.

Common problems
Most withdrawals work smoothly, but issues can happen—especially when networks or invoices don’t match. Here are the most common fixes.
Email needs to be verified
Tap the button next to the error to send a verification email, then click the verification link in your inbox and try again.
Login needs to be added
If you see a login error, add Google or Apple ID login to secure your account, then retry the withdrawal.
Below minimum amount
The withdraw screen shows the minimum for the selected network. If you’re below the minimum, wait until your balance is higher or choose a network option that matches your destination and minimum requirements.
Network mismatch / invalid address
Make sure the network you selected in CloudMineCrypto matches the destination network exactly. Only use Bitcoin addresses/invoices issued for Bitcoin deposits by your destination wallet or exchange.
Lightning invoice expired
Create a new invoice at the destination and retry. Also confirm the amount matches the invoice amount if the destination requires a fixed amount.
